  • In any hand holding a Jack, unless the hand is already a winner! – four to an open-ended Straight, four with a Flush or three into a Straight Flush or Royal Flush – reject all cards only keeping the Jack
  • In any hand having only one card Jack or above, preserve the single good card and reject all other cards and redraw.
  • In any hand having 1 pair less than than Jacks, preserve the pair and reject all other cards – unless the hand is four with a Straight or 4 with a Flush
  • In any hand having a two-pair, maintain both pair and refuse the odd-card.
  • In any hand holding three-of-a-kind keep the three-of-a-kind and refuse the other 2 cards.
  • In any hand holding four to some Straight, maintain all four Straight cards and re-draw – unless of course the Straight draw is not open-ended and the hand is holding a Jack)
  • In any hand having four with a Flush, keep the four Flush – unless the hand holds three to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
  • In any hand with four-of-a-kind, hold anything since a one-card draw will not enhance the cards.
  • In any hand holding 3 to some Royal Flush, reject anything else and go for the Royal – unless of course the hand is already a Sraight Flush!
